Each of us is a powerful, creative being.
We each create our own reality.

If this is true, then why do so many of us we create a reality we don’t really want at all?

Most people are stunned to learn that most of our behavioral and thought patterns are directed by the subconscious mind, not the conscious. In fact, according to Emmanuel Donchin, director of the Laboratory for Cognitive Psychophysiology at the University of Illinois, “As much as 99 percent of cognitive activity may be nonconscious.”The fact is, as adults, we spend most of our time subconsciously reacting to life rather than consciously creating it.

There are two parts of your mind and they are quite different. Both are necessary for you to be fully functional. However, both are specialized in their capabilities as well as the way in which they process life’s experiences.

The Conscious Mind
The Subconscious Mind
Sets Goals~Judges Results
Monitors Body Operations
Thinks Abstractly
Thinks Literally
Short Term Memory ~ Approx. 20 seconds

Long Term Memory ~ past experiences, attitudes, values & beliefs

Time Bound ~ Past & Present

Timeless ~ Present Time Only
Limited Processing Capacity ~ 1 to 3 events at a time
Expanded Processing Capacity ~ Thousand of events at a time
Averages about 40 bits of information per second
Averages 4 BILLION bits of information per second

As is apparent from its processing capacity alone, the subconscious mind plays an important part in your life and represents a major opportunity for accessing and changing old habits of thinking and behaving. If the conscious mind desires a goal the subconscious mind disagrees with, guess which mind usually wins the contest! Talk about driving with one foot on the brake and one foot on the gas!!

It is almost impossible for us to achieve a goal if we hold subconscious beliefs that are in conflict with that goal, no matter what it is. The odds are clearly stacked against your conscious mind achieving its goal without the cooperation of the subconscious. Your subconscious programming takes over the moment your conscious mind becomes distracted and is not paying attention.

If we want to experience change in our external world, we have to change from the inside/out. This can be done by changing the root programming at the level of our subconscious mind, thereby changing the printout of our reality.

The world is awash in money! Do you hear what that means? It is awash in money. It is flowing for everyone. It is like Niagara Falls. And most of you are showing up with your teaspoons.

"Prosperity is a way of living and thinking, and not just money or things. Poverty is a way of living and thinking, and not just a lack of money or things."
